In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
